policy?
- A. You
may return your Item within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund or merchandise
exchange. Customers must call or email for a Return Authorization prior to
sending any merchandise back to Healthgoods. See Returns for details.

ship my order?
- A. In
stock items are shipped within 24 hours of receiving your complete order
information. Out of stock
items are usually shipped in 5-10 business days. Checks and money orders
require a 10 day hold period until funds are cleared before shipment of your

charge for shipping?
- A. Our
shipping charges are as follows for the contiguous United States. Other
charges apply for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and other International orders. See

Shipping (2nd day air) is available on orders under 10 pounds, large and
heavy items will carry additional charges for Premium Shipping if requested. If
additional charges are required for Premium Shipping, you will be notified
of these charges for your approval prior to processing your order.

International shipping of orders?
- A.
We ship in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin
Islands and to US Military locations. Shipments outside the contiguous
United States such as Alaska,
Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada and the
Virgin Islands will require additional shipping
charges. You will be notified of these additional costs for your
approval, prior to
processing your order. All import fees, taxes, and other charges
associated with International orders are the responsibility of the customer.

- Q. Is the information I
send you when placing an order secure?
- A. We
provide the highest security available through a unique three step security
program. All confidential credit card information is encrypted/encoded before it is
stored in our database, so only Healthgoods can retrieve this information,
customer credit card information is automatically deleted 45 days after
placing an order. This allows adequate time to obtain account information for
return merchandise credit, but ensure your personal account information is not
stored for a long period. We also use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology
with the highest encryption available for US orders to encrypt
(scramble) the confidential information you send to us. Customer information is
always protected in a secure directory and is retrieved through a secure
connection to our servers. Our advanced security measures ensure that only
Healthgoods can access your confidential information and should someone bypass
our numerous security measures, all customer confidential information will be

and confidential information be used?

We are committed to your
right to privacy. Your information is used to the extent necessary to
process your order and provide customer service. Healthgoods never sells,
rents or provides your personal and confidential information to any outside

- A. We
use a "non-persistent" cookie, meaning that it is never saved to
your computer's hard drive but is only cached in the browser's memory for
twenty minutes or until the browser is closed. The session ID is only required to track your order as you shop
our online catalog. Our cookie doesn't provide any
information on who you are or your email address. Accepting
our cookie does not give us access to your computer or your personal

- Q. How do I place an
order at Healthgoods.com?
- A. You can order online or by
phone, fax or mail. We utilize a simple shopping system to follow your
purchases and submit your final order. See Ordering
Information for details.

- Q. How do I
change the default Quantity of "1" for products if I want to
purchase more than one?
- A. If you wish to order
a quantity more than "1", then place your cursor in the quantity
box in front of the "1", hold down the left mouse button and drag
across to highlight the box. Then type in the quantity you desire. This will
delete the "1" and place your typed quantity in its place. Then
click on the "Add to Order" button.

- Q. Do you have a catalog
of the products you sell?
- A. We do not offer a complete
paper catalog of our products. Our online catalog has tremendous
environmental and consumer benefits over paper catalogs. Paper catalogs
utilize large amounts of energy and resources to manufacture and send to
prospective customers, most of which do not make purchases. Our online
catalog allows us to provide substantial educational and product information
which can be easily changed and updated to give you the latest information
and product selection. According to the report by the Center for Energy and
Climate Solutions named: The Internet Economy and Global Warming: A
Scenario of the Impact of E-Commerce on Energy and the Environment,
Internet shopping could avoid some 5% of commercial space by 2007, save 2.7
million tons of paper per year by 2003, prevent the need for more than 31

- Q. Why don't you sell
the types of health products that are seen in the TV Infomercials and offered
through Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) programs?
- A. Healthgoods only sells
quality products that provide long lasting benefits. Our products are based
on proven technology and not flashy marketing and deceptive information.
Many products promoted on infomercials and through MLM are inaccurate in
their health claims and have resulted in the federal government taking legal
action against false and misleading advertising. See

- Q. Why don't you offer
free shipping on all your products?
- A. The cost of shipping a product is always
a part of the cost of an
order. Rather than increasing the product cost and offer "Free
Shipping", we prefer to price our products as competitive as possible
and list our shipping cost separately so you know what your order costs are.
Some manufacturers require us to post a "Minimum Advertised Price" (MAP) in
which the lowest price a product can be sold is established. In some instances
of products that have MAP pricing, we offer free shipping to be competitive
and provide value to our customers.

- Q. Are there any sales
taxes on my order?
- A. No. Healthgoods is located in
"Tax Free" New Hampshire and we are not required to collect sales
tax on any order.

- Q. What are the payment
methods you accept?
- A. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express credit cards as well as checks and money orders. See

- Q. How do I adjust my
order before submitting it?
- A. You can modify and delete
items placed in your shopping cart at any time prior to submitting your
final order. Click on the "Shopping Cart" tab or the "Order Checkout"
tab at the top of each page to go to your shopping cart and modify your
order.

- Q. How do I know if you
received my order?
- A. When you purchase items
online with a credit card and submit your final
order to Healthgoods, an order confirmation is automatically generated and
sent to Healthgoods and also to the customer's email address provided in the
order form. If you select Mail/Phone/Fax payment, Healthgoods will not
receive your order confirmation. When selecting this option during the order
process an order summary page is provided to print out. You will need to call,
fax or mail in your order with appropriate payment or credit card
information.
