3M Lead Check Swabs are non-hazardous and provide a rapid, sensitive and specific test for leachable lead on any surface. One of the only EPA Recognized test kits that meets the criterion of the 2008 Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule for testing lead in paint. When lead is detected, 3M LeadCheck Swabs and/or the surface being tested turns pink or red on contact, depending on the concentration of lead present. The entire test procedure is so convenient that it can be performed anywhere. In the vast majority of test situations results are obtained in less than 30 seconds.
