Our 100% Recycled Polyester Shower Curtains are custom manufactured and represent a quality in environmentally sensitive shower curtains unavailable until now. The fabric was custom woven and treated/finished to provide superior performance compared to natural fiber shower curtains such as those made from Cotton or Hemp.

Heavyweight Material - Our shower curtains are made with heavier material and tighter weave than other fabric shower curtains. Heavier weight means less billowing while showering, longer durability and no chance of water penetration.

Sizes - We offer a larger range of sizes to meet various needs in shower stalls and tubs. Other manufacturers offer short widths such as 36" stall sizes and 68"-70" tub sizes. Our 100% Recycled Polyester Shower Curtain Sizes:

Tagua Nut Buttons - The buttons used for the EnviroCurtain® Shower Curtains are made from the seed of the Tagua Palm Tree also called Ivory Nut Palm. Each button displays a unique grain similar to a wood grain. Primarily harvested in the tropical rainforests of South America, such as in Ecuador, these seeds provide a sustainable economic enterprise for the native people. Often called "Vegetable Ivory", the Tagua nut is extremely hard when dry and able to be carved, polished and dyed colors. Before the introduction of plastics, buttons were primarily made form the Tagua nut. This is a renewable resource and the use of these buttons help support Rainforest conservation.

Fabric Treatments - Non-hazardous, anti-microbial treatment has been applied to the fabric to help prevent mold growth and unsightly mildew discoloration, reducing your exposure to mold spores and potential allergens. A water repellent finish has also been applied to the shower curtain fabric to help keep water off the material for quick drying and further prevention of mold and mildew growth. There is no off-gassing of the shower curtain fabric or toxic odors like vinyl curtain liners.

Sewing Quality - Our shower curtains are manufactured on professional intricate sewing equipment to obtain fine detail and quality. We manufacture these curtains with a high stitch per inch and leave no exposed cut fabric edges on the hems. All hems are straight and uniform in dimension. Other manufacturer's products are made on canvas sewing machinery designed for heavy material manufacturing leaving unnecessary thick thread lines, low stitches per inch and uneven hems with exposed cut edges. 

Use and Care Instructions

Our EnviroCurtain® shower curtain can be used as a decorative outside curtain or as a Shower Curtain Liner to keep water inside a tub or shower stall. The shower curtain is not waterproof, but is water repellant. To help prevent mold/mildew growth and allow quick drying, spread the shower curtain out after use and do not allow the end of the shower curtain to sit in water.

• Machine Wash in Cold Water, Gentle Cycle.
• Use Non-Chlorine Bleach Only (if desired).
• Hang Dry or Tumble Dry Low Heat.
• Low Temperature Iron (if desired).

Environmental Impact

Recycled Polyester has all of the properties of virgin (new) Polyester. It is the most widely used synthetic fiber. Our shower curtains are made from 100% recycled material containing post consumer and post industrial Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) waste to give you all the characteristics of a synthetic Polyester material with the added benefit of environmental responsibility. This keeps these materials out of landfills and provides a value and demand for the base materials to encourage recycling. Our EnviroCurtain® Shower Curtains meet the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines for recycled products.  The material used for our shower curtains conserves natural resources by reducing the energy consumption necessary for production and protects petroleum resources by offsetting the need to produce virgin (new) polyester.
