Diverter Valve Installation
Shower Diverter Valve
allows you to attach two fixtures to a single shower arm. Changes the direction of water flow to attached shower devices
such as fixed showerheads and hand held showerheads.

Remove existing showerhead from
existing shower arm. Unscrew by turning counterclockwise

Clean debris from the threads of the
existing shower arm.

Wrap threads of the shower arm with
pipe thread tape in a clockwise direction. Two complete
revolutions should be adequate.

Attach shower diverter valve to the
existing shower arm by turning the attachment nut in a clockwise
direction until tight.

Wrap threads of the shower diverter
valve with pipe thread tape in a clockwise direction. Two
complete revolutions should be adequate.

Attach showerhead to horizontal facing thread
by turning the attachment nut in a
clockwise direction until tight.

Attach other accessory like a handheld showerhead to the
vertical facing thread by turning
the attachment nut in a clockwise direction until tight.
