CADR Testing
Some product
manufacturers use a standard called "Clean Air Delivery Rate", also
referred to as the CADR test, to make an effectiveness claim for
their portable air cleaners. The CADR test lacks the detailed
information and test protocols to allow a consumer to make an
informed decision when purchasing an air filter system to meet their
specific needs. When purchasing a portable air filter system for
your home, you want to know that the system will provide consistent
performance over the life of the filtration media and you want to
